We are still here. Time's been a bit short. My sleeping is currently compartmentalised in such a way as to preclude any real time for lesisure actiities other than a furtive check of my email.
Everyone well - docs on Tues tomorrow for late immunisations (ugh) then amazingly, actually have the long mentioned pediatrician appt on wed. Although my regome of eating the most frustrating diet on record is going great guns at keeping James' skin from being entirely the creaking, cracked mess it was. All the red marks are there & behind the ears gets pretty bad, but the red marks are more like tiny pinpricks, and most importantly, there are no background red swollen areas. We're about to swap from Aqueous to Safflower oil, which according to a nutritionalist Grandmother of my friend Zelda (!) contains the vitamin b spectrum in a positively brimming type capacity, and thus is good for babies with eczema. given that we were switching to Grapeseed oil anyway, we'll use Safflower and keep an eye on how strong it is - grapeseed is very inert.
Must go. Holiday report is - christ, it went from 24 degrees (ie: about 18 indoors) to 37 degrees in 1 day. it was impossible for James & I. We didn't actually leave the house for several days. That having been said, he was an absolute angel, and slept very, very well, partially I' sure due to the pitch black of the bedroom (wooden shutters, y'see) which has spurred me on to buy some proper blackout curtains. Nora has a great, great time. Loved it. My Dad falls in love with her anew every time, I'm sure.
Alright, alright, I'm going!
